So what makes Back to Reality different from the other twenty something promotion companies that promise to give you a “fun filled night of Sega, Soca, Bashment and RnB!”?
Simple – Back to Reality go out of their way to make sure that there is an element of diversity and variety that quite honestly no one else has been able to pull off, having the ability to provide the culture of Mauritians whilst mixing it up with the Urban, making it something that not only Mauritians can enjoy.
Part one of the White Party left the crowd in high spirits with live PA from Collie Buddz and Reggae’s only living certified Diamond-selling artist Shaggy leaving Back2Reality Promotions with no difficulty in making part 2 of the White Party a sell out event.
Some may have describe the quantity of people as quite hefty, but Sway in Holborn was yet again picked as a perfect location, with various rooms allowing for a well attended crowd and plenty of room to enjoy music from the likes of DJ Azz and Fudgie of DMD Entertainment who presented everything from Sega to Hip Hop and RnB to Funky House though not forgetting to take it back to the old school!
Not to disappoint, they clearly had to provide another remarkable PA to keep the crowd content, and although there was a wait longer than anticipated, Back2Reality did it yet again and topped off the evening with a performance from American
singer/songwriter/producer “Lloyd” who did not fail to entice the crowd.
The White Party Number two was a success, the crowd left having enjoyed themselves yet again and looking forward to the next party, and Back2Reality being safe in the knowledge that they did what they aimed to do, make the attendees a part of the experience.
